It is located in the northwest of South America, on equatorial latitude, its surface is 256.370 sq.km and its population 13 millions inhabitants aproximatly. Its currency is the American Dollar and the language is the Spanish. Ecuador is a small country but here we can find the high biodiversity of the world where there are thousands of species of flora and fauna... In addition in Ecuador exist an impressive variety of ethnic groups, including some intact communities that still conserve traditions, customs and ancestral manifestations of the culture The country is divided in 4 regions: Coast, Highlands, Rainforest and Galapagos Islands.
