Cuenca

Considered by many to be the most beautiful city in the country, the town of Cuenca (2’550m) has an indescribable charm.

We will stroll with pleasure along the stone paved streets, bordered with white houses with traditional tiled roofs and wrought iron balconies dripping in flowers.

Cuenca is unique for its colonial art treasures and its churches and convents from the 17th and 18th century. 

We will be able to explore the Cathedral, its panorama from the viewpoint "El Turi", its flowered plazas, churches and markets. After midday, a visit of the famous "Panama" hat factory.
